The airline Nextjet AB and Nextjet Sverige AB are filing for bankruptcy, the company announced in a press release.

As of 1:00 PM today, all flights with Nextjet are canceled.
"We have done everything in our power to find a solution, but unfortunately have not succeeded. What is happening now is that a bankruptcy trustee will be appointed who will make decisions about the companies' future," CEO Magnus Ivarsson comments in the press release.

On its Facebook page, the company writes that customers who have already booked a trip should contact their travel agency or card issuer.

”"Our customer service is closed until further notice," writes Nextjet, urging passengers not to go to the airports.

Nextjet has 16 aircraft, 330 employees and flies to 17 destinations. The company has established a niche at smaller airports such as Hemavan and Gällivare.
