Nine out of ten Swedes would consider canceling business trips and replacing them with video meetings, according to a Sifo survey commissioned by an audio and video technology company.

The survey includes responses from 1,015 people, one of which was whether they were prepared to reduce their business travel in favor of video meetings. About 29 percent answered ”Yes, to some extent,” 30 percent ”Yes, mostly,” and another 29 percent ”Yes, almost completely.”. 

Six out of ten respondents agree that it is also easier to hold digital meetings shorter and more efficient than physical ones and that it is easier to arrive on time.

At the same time, the survey shows that 6 out of 10 respondents were also irritated by technical glitches and poor connectivity.
