SAS's competitor Norwegian has not canceled any departures around Christmas due to sick leave.

– At Norwegian, we are also noticing the spread of the omicron virus, but we have not had to cancel any flights today because of this, says a spokesperson for the company in a written comment.

The company BRA also has a slightly higher rate of sick leave than usual.

– But it has not had the effect of us having to cancel any departures, we have taken into account increased absences, says BRA's commercial manager Martin Erkenborn.
