Norse Atlantic Airways has now established itself at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with a direct route to Bangkok. Norse Atlantic and the new route, which operates twice a week, will be an important addition to Stockholm Arlanda and further strengthen Sweden's accessibility to Thailand.

The establishment of a direct route to Bangkok at Stockholm Arlanda Airport strengthens accessibility to Thailand, and will serve as an important link for those wishing to visit family and friends or explore new places. In December, Norse Atlantic will begin operating another Thai destination from Stockholm Arlanda, Phuket in the southern parts, further linking the two countries.

– The relationship between Sweden and Thailand is very special. Hundreds of thousands of people in Sweden have a strong connection to Thailand – through family, friends, work or holidays. Likewise, here in Sweden there is a large and vibrant Thai community. Norse Atlantic will play an important role in achieving Swedavia's goal of enabling people to meet, says Jonas Abrahamsson, CEO of Swedavia.

– Today, Norse Atlantic begins a new exciting chapter as we launch our first flight from Stockholm Arlanda to Bangkok, with our modern and comfortable Boeing 787 Dreamliner! Thailand has long been a favorite destination for Scandinavian travelers, and we are proud to make it more accessible than ever with Norse’s affordable flights. We thank Swedavia and the Tourism Authority of Thailand for their strong partnership and shared vision. The response to this route has been fantastic, and we look forward to a lively winter season, says Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways.

Starting on 29 October 2025, Norse Atlantic will operate the Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Int'l (BKK) route twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, until the end of the winter season. The route will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with seating for 338 passengers in Premium and Economy Class.
