Norway reintroduces ten-day quarantine for travelers from six Swedish regions, writes
the Norwegian government on its website.
The reason is that the spread of the coronavirus is considered too high.
The requirement comes into effect on Monday, November 8, and covers the regions of Kalmar, Skåne, Södermanland, Uppsala, Västra Götaland and Östergötland. Quarantine has previously been in effect for travelers from Norrbotten, Stockholm and Västmanland.
Children and young people under the age of 18 and people with a valid vaccination certificate or Covid certificate are exempt from the requirement.
The quarantine can also be shortened to at least three days if the Covid test is negative.
