Starting Monday, August 16, new restrictions will apply to several Swedish regions after the spread of the coronavirus increased, writes Västerbottens-Kuriren.

Entry restrictions and quarantine requirements are being introduced for five new regions in Sweden – Jämtland, Södermanland, Uppsala, Västerbotten and Västmanland.

Restrictions have previously been introduced for Västra Götaland, Östergötland, Norrbotten, Skåne, Gotland, Halland, Stockholm and Värmland.

Those who want to come entering Norway must have a negative test certificate before entry, fill out a registration form, test themselves at the border upon arrival and be in quarantine.

People who can show documentation of full vaccination or of having had a Covid infection within the last six months can disregard the rules.
