Norwegian Flyr aims for IPO, raises 600 million Norwegian kroner

Norwegian airline Flyr, led by industry veteran Erik G. Braathen, is raising 600 million Norwegian kroner and is aiming for a public listing. The goal is to get the first aircraft in the air before the summer, reports Norwegian news site E24.no.

In October last year, investor Erik G. Braathen launched plans for a new airline. Since then, he has been working to bring in experienced aviation professionals, including people from Norwegian. 

The company has previously announced an upcoming capital round of 600 million Norwegian kroner to get started and now they are also announcing that the company will be listed on Euronext Growth, formerly Merkur Market, on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
