Norwegian has received interest from players other than IAG, Lufthansa and Ryanair, CEO Bjørn Kjos said in an interview on Tuesday.

He also said that the company is not in need of any additional financing at this time, Bloomberg News reports.

The Norwegian boss also said that Norwegian is a better fit with a European airline than one from the US or Asia. Kjos also said that he will not stop a sale of the company if the board decides on a deal.

This morning, the airline's CEO said that Norwegian has reached a size that allows it to achieve profitability. He also reiterated that the company has not put itself up for sale, according to Reuters.

However, Björn Kjøs sees the interest from other airlines as positive as it shows that the company is doing something right.
