The airline Norwegian is dropping the troubled Boeing 737 Max aircraft completely, the company states in a comment to Norwegian E24.
As part of Norwegian's rescue operation, it has now decided to release the Max aircraft from the new fleet. Brokerage firm Orix Aviation had been tasked with finding new borrowers or owners for twelve of Norwegian's 18 received Max aircraft.
The decision means that it will only have Boeing 737 NG aircraft in its fleet, provided that the company survives the reconstruction.
