Four stars is the highest ranking a low-cost airline can receive.

Over one million flights and 500 airlines were ranked in this year's APEX awards. Norwegian was one of ten low-cost carriers around the world to receive four stars.

“It is a great honor to be rated as a four-star airline by passengers who have traveled with us. I would like to thank all of our 10,000 employees from Bangkok in the east to Los Angeles in the west who do their utmost every day to ensure that our customers have the best possible travel experience,” says Norwegian CEO Bjørn Kjos.

About APEX:
APEX ranks airlines worldwide based on reviews from passengers themselves. Airlines are divided into three categories: Global Airlines, Regional Airlines and Low-Cost Airlines. Over one million flights and 500 airlines were evaluated between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018. Passengers rate airlines overall and in four subcategories: Comfort, In-flight Service, Food and Beverage, and In-flight Entertainment and WiFi. Four stars is the highest rating a low-cost airline can receive.
