In November, Norwegian had 1.5 million passengers while Widerøe had 324,000 passengers. In total, the group had 1.84 million passengers. Norwegian had a cabin factor of 85.5 percent, which is a new record for a November month.

–November was a good month for the Group. Norwegian's load factor is the highest we have had in a November, which shows that the capacity adjustments we have made for the winter season are paying off. We are also pleased that Norwegian's unit revenue increased in November and that the winter season continues with good punctuality and regularity, says Norwegian's CEO Geir Karlsen.

Norwegian's capacity (ASK) in November was 2,404 million seat kilometers, a decrease of 6 percent from last year. Actual passenger traffic (RPK) was 2,055 million seat kilometers, a decrease of 2 percent. The load factor was 85.5, up 3 percentage points. Norwegian had an average of 75 aircraft in operation in November.

Widerøe's capacity in November (ASK) was 161 million seat kilometers, a decrease of 2 percent from last year. Actual passenger traffic (RPK) was 113 million seat kilometers while the load factor was 70.3 percent, down 1.4 percentage points.

Punctuality, which measures the proportion of departures that depart within 15 minutes of the regular schedule, was 82.3 percent for Norwegian and 79.8 percent for Widerøe. In November, Norwegian operated 99.7 percent of its scheduled flights while Widerøe operated 94 percent of its flights. Widerøe's operations were affected, among other things, by demanding weather conditions.

Christmas break and stable booking trend
Ahead of Christmas and New Year, both Norwegian and Widerøe are preparing for travel-intensive days with full schedules.

–We are well prepared for the upcoming holiday and see very good demand for travel, both domestically and to major cities as well as sun and beach destinations. The booking trend looks positive well into next year with more flight tickets sold than during the same time last year, continues Geir Karlsen.

In November, Norwegian launched 30 new routes for the summer 2026 program from across the Nordics. From Stockholm Arlanda, Montpellier, Basel and Beirut were launched, and from Gothenburg Landvetter, Riga was launched. From Copenhagen, Tel Aviv and Tbilisi were launched.
