This is stated in a press release.

The number of passengers in the first month of the year increased by 12 percent for Norwegian and by 19 percent for Widerøe compared to January 2024. Norwegian had a capacity increase of 23 percent compared to the previous year.

”"While 2024 was a year of consistently stable capacity growth, especially during the winter months, 2025 will be a year where we focus on cost efficiency and better capacity utilization," comments Norwegian's CEO Geir Karlsen.
