The board of Norwegian Airlines has now begun searching for a successor to 72-year-old CEO Björn Kjos, Nettavisen reports.
However, Kjos believes that he can remain in the CEO position for another three years.
”"You shouldn't sit in a job like this for too long, and I've sat in it for too long," he tells the newspaper.
Nettavisen singles out Hurtigrutten's CEO Daniel Skejldam and Kjo's daughter Anna Helene Kjos as possible candidates for the post.
”"No, I don't have a favorite and I don't want to get involved. This is up to the board," says Kjos.
Björn Kjos founded Norwegian in 2002 and has been CEO since then.
