Norwegian continues to invest in Stockholm Skavsta Airport and is launching a fourth destination to Spain starting in October. Norwegian already flies to Malaga, Alicante and Palma from Stockholm Skavsta Airport. With the new route to Gran Canaria, four Spanish destinations are now offered.
– There is a great interest among Swedish travelers to travel to Spain so it is pleasing to be able to offer another direct route from Skavsta Airport. We also note that many travelers appreciate flying from there so we look forward to welcoming travelers on board the new route to Las Palmas next winter season, says Charlotte Holmbergh, Country Director Corporate Affairs.
– We are very pleased to welcome another initiative from Norwegian with its fourth destination from the airport. The Canary Islands are a very popular destination during the winter months thanks to their pleasant climate and rich food culture. This route has long been in demand by our travelers, both from Greater Stockholm and from cities south and west of the airport. We are convinced that this will be a great success, says Brett Weihart, CEO of Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
The new route between Stockholm Skavsta Airport and Las Palmas starts on October 26 and operates once a week, on Mondays.
Norwegian operates a summer and a winter program that changes twice a year, at the end of October and the end of March respectively.
