Norwegian continues to develop its route network and at the end of October a new direct route will start from Stockholm Arlanda to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.

Last winter, Norwegian launched direct flights to Hurghada from both Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Landvetter. With the new route, Norwegian offers two direct routes to Egypt from Stockholm.

–We are really excited to be able to launch another direct route to Egypt. The response to Hurghada that we started last year has been very good so we believe there is a great interest in discovering more of all that Egypt has to offer. Sharm el-Sheikh is perfect for those who want sun, sea, culture and adventure in one trip so we look forward to the start of the new route and welcoming travelers on board, says Charlotte Holmbergh, Country Director Corporate Affairs at Norwegian.

Oin Sharm el-Sheikh
Sharm el-Sheikh is popular for its lovely, sunny climate, colorful coral reefs with fantastic diving and snorkeling experiences, and many fine hotels. A little outside the city, you can go on jeep safaris, ride camels, and gaze at the stars. There is also a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment for the whole family.

About the new line:
The new route will operate during the winter months starting October 27, 2025. It will be flown once a week, on Mondays.
