According to new American figures, the airline Norwegian is now the largest non-American airline in transatlantic travel to New York.

The Norwegian airline takes over first place from British Airways, reports the Reuters news agency.

During the measurement period July 2018-July 2019, the Norwegian company flew 1.67 million passengers to the New York area.

Air Canada is slightly larger in terms of international travelers to and from New York, but the majority of the company's flights are to Canada.
