Low-cost airline Norwegian is opening several new routes from Scandinavia. Arlanda will get three new destinations while Landvetter will get a new direct route, the company writes in a press release.

Eastern Europe dominates as the airline Norwegian presents 16 new direct flight routes from Scandinavia. From Arlanda, it will be possible to fly to Lithuanian Palanga, Montenegrin Tivat and Polish Gdansk from the spring. Gdansk will also have flights from Landvetter.

The company also announces that Copenhagen will get five new routes, while Oslo will get four new ones. Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger will each get a new route.

Norwegian has recently had difficulty with profitability and announced a week ago that it is raising an additional 2.5 billion Norwegian kroner in a new share issue.
