Norwegian airline Norwegian is expected to announce additional aircraft sales before the end of the year, including used Boeing 737 aircraft, and also some new Airbus aircraft that Norwegian has ordered, with the aim of reducing the company's debt obligations.
This is reported by Reuters, citing statements from Norwegian's CFO Geir Karlsen at an investor presentation on Tuesday.
”"The problem is not selling them but getting the price we want. Hopefully, by the end of the year, we will be able to announce a transaction," said the CFO.
Norwegian has committed to acquiring 210 new aircraft from Boeing and Airbus by 2020.
