Crisis-stricken Norwegian plans to reduce the airline's workforce in Spain by 85 percent.

Norwegian has informed unions that almost 1,200 cabin crew members in Spain may be laid off as part of a restructuring program, a company spokesperson said.

The decline in flying in the wake of the corona pandemic has hit the airline hard.
