Shares in the airline Norwegian Air rose by just over 12 percent on the Oslo Stock Exchange the day after British Airways owner IAG said it was considering a bid for the Norwegian competitor.
On Thursday, Norwegian NAS Air shares surged by just over 47 percent in heavy trading. Norwegian shares worth 1.7 billion Norwegian kroner changed hands in turbulent trading following the IAG announcement.
SAS shares, which rose 6.4 percent on Thursday, continue to follow Norwegian shares upward and rise by 4.2 percent.
