
Norwegian and JetBlue have signed a cooperation agreement that will allow customers of both low-cost carriers to easily book onward connections in a single booking, according to a press release.
JetBlue has an extensive network in the US, Caribbean and Latin America, while Norwegian has several transatlantic routes and a large network in Europe. The partnership enables customers to book through flights in a single booking on both airlines' networks.
At the three hubs of New York JFK, Boston and Fort Lauderdale, Norwegian's passengers have access to 60 domestic routes in the US and 40 routes to the Caribbean and Latin America. Jetblue customers can fly to Europe with Norwegian on over 20 routes.
Norwegian shares rise 6 percent on the Oslo Stock Exchange after the announcement.
