The German union Verdi has again called for a strike for ground staff at Lufthansa. The strike is scheduled to begin on Thursday and will last two days.

It is unclear exactly how many travelers will be affected by the strike.

As recently as mid-February, Verdi announced a similar strike, which was then expected to affect over 100,000 passengers and around thirty flights to and from Sweden.

The background is disagreements about wages and working conditions.
