Liseberg presents the new attraction AtmosFear VR – a tailor-made ”virtual reality” experience at a speed of 110km/h down Europe’s highest ”free fall”. AtmosFear VR opens in conjunction with Liseberg’s premiere on April 23 and will remain until Balder can open later in the summer.
AtmosFear is the free-fall attraction that opened in 2011 in Lisebergstornet. Using VR glasses, riders are offered a completely unique virtual experience this summer in a free fall from a height of almost 100 meters. A tailor-made VR world has been developed especially to suit the ride in AtmosFear.
– In a sci-fi version of Liseberg in the distant future, you travel from the AtmosFear station through wormholes and different galaxies before being attacked by robots and thrown almost 100 meters down at 110 km/h. It will be one of the most intense VR experiences in the world, says Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg.
