The oneworld airline alliance has been named the ”"Favorite Airline Alliance"” at The Trazees Awards. This means the alliance achieves so-called Quint Status, which recognizes five consecutive wins in the category.
The award was presented in Chicago on August 3 and was received by oneworld's Digital Marketing Manager Justin Soto.
The Trazees is being held for the twelfth year and the winners are selected by vote among the readers of Trazee Travel, a publication aimed at travelers between 25 and 40 years old.
“We are honored to have been named the favorite airline alliance by Trazee Travel readers for the fifth year in a row. The award is a testament to the work of our member airlines to offer a more cohesive and rewarding travel experience,” said Ole Orvér, CEO of oneworld.
oneworld continues to grow
The award comes as oneworld continues its expansion, with Hawaiian Airlines recently joining the alliance and Philippine Airlines announced as a future member.
The alliance is also investing in digital services and innovation to improve the customer experience in a network that includes almost 1,000 destinations.
In addition, oneworld has launched a loyalty partnership with Indian Hotels Companys Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass, which includes luxury brands Taj and Claridges Collection.
Also oneworld member Alaska Airlines was awarded at this year's Trazees. The airline won "Favorite Airline Website" for the third year in a row and "Best Family-Friendly Domestic Airline" for the second year in a row.
