Oskar Wijk, who currently works with business development at Destination Småland, will become acting CEO when Anna Sjödahl leaves the organization and becomes the new head of business in Växjö Municipality.
– I am honored and excited to develop further within the company. During my time at Destination Småland, I have seen the company develop and take a position in the tourism industry locally, nationally and internationally.
We have an exciting future ahead of us and as acting CEO I look forward to contributing to creating good conditions for long-term growth in the rapidly growing hospitality industry. Destination Småland is tasked with developing the tourism industry, marketing Småland as a destination, and networking and creating collaborations regionally, nationally and internationally. Oskar Wijk will begin his position on August 15, 2018.
