The airline SAS flew over 1.3 million passengers in November, an increase of just over 300 percent compared to the same period a year earlier, according to SAS's traffic report.
In November, SAS increased its capacity by 143 percent compared to the previous year and ended up at a similar level compared to the previous month.
The cabin factor was 61 percent, an increase of 36 percentage points compared to last year and an increase of 1.6 percentage points compared to October.
”"We have seen a gradual increase in demand in recent months as travel restrictions have been lifted. Demand and ticket sales have stabilized ahead of the winter, which is generally a less active travel period. With the new versions of the Covid-19 virus spreading around the world, the future remains uncertain," CEO Anko van der Werff writes in a comment.
RPK, revenue per passenger kilometer, rose by 468 percent in November compared to the same month last year. Revenue metrics Yield and Pask fell by 37 and increased by 51 percent, respectively, currency-adjusted in November.
