There continues to be a high recruitment need at Sweden's largest airports, Arlanda and Landvetter. Ahead of summer 2026, there are over 600 vacancies in total to apply for, with just over 300 at Swedavia. At the same time, many of the companies operating at Swedavia's airports are also recruiting for various roles and professions.
As there are many job vacancies at the airports, Swedavia is inviting people to recruitment days at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport on January 27th and February 3rd. The aim is to showcase the breadth of available jobs and career opportunities at the airports.
-Our airports bring together hundreds of employers, and recruitment needs are also high this year. Consequently, for those interested in working at an airport, there are excellent opportunities to learn more about the wide range of different professions and roles available at our airports, says Marie Wiksborg, Director of Business Support at Swedavia.
The variety of available positions is broad. This includes full-time and part-time positions, as well as seasonal employment for the summer. Available jobs range from IT engineers to roles in operational management, as well as in security control and in service and catering.
Arlanda has 600 employers and approximately 17,500 employees and at Landvetter there are around 100 employers and 3,500 employees. This makes the airports major employers in their respective regions and Arlanda one of Sweden's largest workplaces.
Background
Swedavia took the initiative for the joint recruitment days in 2022 to bring together companies and other stakeholders at the airports and create a common meeting place for recruitment and matching. Since their inception, the days have been well-attended and have attracted thousands of visitors each year. At Arlanda, approximately 20 companies are participating this year, while Landvetter is bringing together around 15 stakeholders.
