
Per G. Braathen, who is on the board of Scandic Hotels and is proposed to become the chairman of the board, bought almost 317,000 shares in the company last Friday.
This is evident from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's insider list. The purchase was made at the price of 78.90 kronor and was thus worth approximately 25 million kronor in total.
The deal was made through the company Braganza, which is owned by Per G Braathen and his family. Braganza's portfolio includes, among other things, the airline Bra (formerly Malmö Aviation) and Kristiansand Zoo.
Braganza owns approximately 331,000 shares in Scandic after the transaction, according to the compilation by ownership data service Holdings. This corresponds to 0.3 percent of capital and votes.
On 27 February, it became known that Per G Braathen is proposed to take over the chairmanship of Scandic Hotels SHOT after Vagn Sørensen.
