
Pär Christiansen has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Scandic Hotels Group (publ) on 17 January. Pär will take up his new role on 1 March and will be part of Scandic's Group Management. Åsa Wirén, current Chief Financial Officer of Scandic Hotels Group, will thus leave Scandic.
Scandic has appointed Pär Christiansen as the new CFO of Scandic Hotels Group. Pär has extensive experience in leading financial, strategic and operational functions at large international companies such as Euroflorist, SAS and Clas Ohlson. Åsa Wirén, current CFO, will leave Scandic as of today, January 17.

Pär most recently came from a role as CFO at Euroflorist, which operates in eleven European countries. Prior to that, he was CFO at Clas Ohlson for just over four years and held other senior positions at international companies such as Gant, Transcom, MTR and SAS.

In the weeks leading up to Pär taking up his new role, Jens Mathiesen, President and CEO, will assume the role of acting CFO. Pär will take up his position on March 1.
