Norwegian Airlines reports sharply rising traffic figures for October. The company had 2.1 million passengers, 10 percent more than the same month last year.

”"We are very pleased with the traffic figures in October. Many travelers in the Nordic region took the opportunity to extend the summer season during the autumn holidays," says CEO Geir Karlsen in a press release.

The company also states that during the same period it has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by four percent thanks to replacing some aircraft.
