IT problems at the police have led to long queues at passport control at Kastrup Airport outside Copenhagen, reports Extra Leaflet.

Passports must now be checked manually by the Copenhagen Police, which means that the checks take longer than usual.

The police confirm that it is an IT system that is malfunctioning.

– What I know is that it is an IT problem. It is something we are following, the officer on duty tells the newspaper.

How long the problems will last is unclear.
