Passport offices borrow staff to reduce queues

Remove

The long queues to get a new passport will be reduced by the passport police borrowing personnel from other parts of the authority.

Magnus Roglert, head of unit at the police's legal department, says that in addition to reallocating staff, they have also increased opening hours and made it more difficult for those who book appointments to sell.

If the problems persist, opening hours may be extended further, he says.
