Pegasus Airlines will open a new seasonal direct route between Stockholm and Izmir on March 28, 2027. The route will operate once a week during the summer season and will end on October 23.

The new connection gives Stockholm a direct line to Turkey's third largest city and the Aegean coast during the summer half of 2027.

The service starts on March 28 and runs until October 23, with one departure per week. This is therefore a seasonal line and not a year-round service.

New seasonal connection to the Aegean coast

Izmir is located on the Aegean Sea in western Turkey and also serves as a starting point for trips to other destinations along the coast.

The region has a wide range of tourist attractions, including seaside resorts, historical attractions and archaeological sites. The area is also known for its local food and wine production.

With the new route, Pegasus Airlines is expanding its seasonal direct offering between Sweden and Turkey for the summer of 2027.
