He replaces Susanne Norman who will continue her work as Director of Regional Airports within Swedavia.
Åre Östersund Airport has experienced significant growth over the past 8 years from 340,000 passengers to 540,000 and is facing a series of investments and development projects, not least to prepare for the World Cup in 2019.
Peter has solid experience from various businesses, including officer in the Armed Forces, operations manager for School & Care, CEO of a consulting company, production and facilities manager, and sales and marketing manager for Iron Mountain's digital solutions in Sweden.
Susanne Norman has had a dual role at Swedavia for the past four years and is now leaving her role as airport manager to work full-time as director of Swedavia's Regional Airports, where Åre Östersund Airport is one of seven airports.
– Peter's extensive experience from production operations with efficient processes combined with sales and customer focus will be a good support for Åre Östersund's continued positive development. The airport and its employees need full-time, present leadership to further develop. As Director of Regional Airports, I look forward to joining this journey with Peter and all the fantastic employees at the airport, says Susanne Norman.
