In the middle of Krokslätt's factories, Petter A. Stordalen, founder of Nordic Choice Hotels, breaks ground for Mölndal's new Quality Hotel.
They are now looking for a new hotel name and are inviting the residents of Mölndal and the public to come up with a suggestion for what the hotel should be called.
On Tuesday, construction began on what will become Mölndal's new Quality Hotel in 2021. The hotel will be a new landmark in the Gothenburg region and a central part of the transformation of Krokslätts Fabriker from an industrial area to a vibrant meeting place with hotels, housing, shops and offices.
