A Turkish Airlines pilot died after collapsing on a flight from Seattle, writes CBS News.

The plane was forced to make an emergency landing in New York early Wednesday morning.

”"After an unsuccessful attempt to provide first aid, the flight crew of another pilot and a co-pilot decided to make an emergency landing, but he died before landing," airline spokesman Yahya Üstün wrote in a statement.
