A Pegasus Airlines plane got stuck halfway down a steep slope towards the Black Sea when it skidded off the runway in Trabzon in eastern Turkey.
None of the 162 passengers or crew members were injured, Turkish media reported.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening when the plane, a Boeing 737-800 arriving from Ankara, suffered what was described as an "excursion incident" on the runway.
