A Saurya Airlines plane has crashed while taking off from Kathmandu airport, reports say. Kathmandu Post.

19 people were on board the plane, which was en route to the city of Pokhara. At least 18 people are reported to have died, according to VG.

Local media reports that even people who were not traveling on the plane have died because they were where the plane crashed.

So far, a total of 22 people are reported to have died.
