A first preliminary report is expected today on what happened when an Ethiopian Airlines passenger plane with 157 people on board crashed, AFP reports, citing anonymous sources close to the investigation.
All 157 people on board died in the accident that occurred shortly after the plane – a Boeing 737 Max 8 – took off from the airport in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on March 10.
On board the plane were citizens from 35 nations. Four of the victims were Swedes.
After the accident in Ethiopia, the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft model has been taken out of service almost worldwide.
