An aircraft en route from Frankfurt to Landvetter had to make an emergency landing in Hamburg early Saturday evening.

It reports German Photo. The emergency landing was made due to brief smoke. The plane landed without any problems and all passengers are unharmed.

According to initial reports, the smoke appears to have been caused by a broken coffee machine, the airline Lufthansa said.

– It was a kettle that started smoking. As a matter of routine, an emergency landing was therefore necessary. Everything was resolved without drama and the 125 passengers are now getting on a new aircraft with a new crew as per routine, says Swedavia's communications officer Frida Jones to SVT News.
