Twenty-five people had to be evacuated from an aircraft at Arlanda after sparks were generated near an engine during takeoff.
No people were reportedly injured in connection with the incident, which Expressen was first to report.
It was just before 8 p.m. on Thursday that a small Saab 340 aircraft was scheduled to take off for a flight to Karlstad. The plane belongs to the company Air Leap.
– There was some kind of sparking in connection with the engine when the engine was about to be started at the gate. The emergency services have been on site and checked the situation, says Ellen Laurin at Swedavia's press service to TT.
The plane remains on the ground and the passengers have been allowed to enter the terminal.
