An aircraft going from Arlanda to Vaasa had to turn around and make an emergency landing.
– After taking off from Arlanda, a smell of smoke was detected in the cabin and the pilot declared ”distress,” says Lars Nilsson at JRCC.
There were 58 people on board, including crew and passengers. The plane has just landed at Arlanda.
– The plane is currently being examined. By all accounts, it has gone well, says Lars Nilsson.
The plane was a BRA plane operated by SAS.
”"The flight was canceled due to an indication of a smoke smell in the cabin. The safety of our passengers and colleagues is always our highest priority. The flight therefore returned to Stockholm in accordance with applicable safety procedures and landed completely normally," writes the airline's press service.
