The flight from Bromma to Växjö, which departed at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning, with the airline Bra, had to turn around once it was in the air and then land again at Bromma Airport.
The reason was that the flight system alerted about the plane's landing gear.
When the pilots got into the air, they received indications that the landing gear was not functioning properly.
Therefore, they made the decision to turn back to Bromma. The service work on the plane then took too long and the departure was canceled. Passengers were directed to the later departure at 13:40 and to fly via Ronneby.
According to Jim Hofverberg, PR manager at Bra, this type of error is unusual, but if the pilots receive an error message of this caliber, the routine is always to land the plane.
He also points out that after checking the plane, there were never any problems with the landing gear.
