Police investigation against Skistar is closed

Remove

Two weekends ago, a party at Skistar's staff housing in Vemdalsskalet was interrupted by security personnel when the party violated the company's corona rules. 13 seasonal employees lost their jobs, but at least one of them chose to report Skistar's representatives to the police for trespassing.

The police have now closed the investigation.

– There was no intent to commit a domestic disturbance and therefore the investigation has been closed, says Agneta Brovinius at the Östersund police to Östersundsposten.

According to the security company's report, a party with at least 15 people was going on in a home intended for three people. However, one of the residents of the cabin has claimed that those who were in the cabin were those who worked together during the day and that they met to watch ice hockey.
