MSC World Asia, the third ship in MSC Cruises’ World Class series, will begin cruising the Western Mediterranean from December 2026. The ship combines modern design with influences from Asian culture and nature, with destinations including Barcelona, Marseille and ValleHaa. On board, guests will be offered over 40 bars and restaurants, family-friendly activities and several different areas on board for a varied experience.

Designed to meet the diverse needs of guests, MSC World Asia features over 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, international entertainment and family-friendly activities. The ship will begin its winter season on 11 December 2026 with seven-day cruises in the Western Mediterranean.

The route includes popular destinations such as Barcelona in Spain, Marseille in France, as well as Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina in Italy and Valletta in Malta. Travelers can embark at any port along the route. During the summer season of 2027, it is currently planned that MSC World Asia will offer the same route.

“The Western Mediterranean is one of our most popular regions and MSC World Asia will strengthen our offering in the area both winter and summer. As with our other new ships, we are introducing new concepts, locations and services to create a memorable cruise experience for our guests,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises.

The new ship is the latest addition to MSC Cruises' series of LNG-powered ships, following MSC World Europa and the upcoming MSC World America, which will begin cruising the Caribbean from Miami in spring 2025. MSC World Asia combines modern design with influences from Asian culture and nature. The ship has a vertical bow and a Y-shaped stern that opens up to a fantastic outdoor promenade, which is a hallmark of the World Class series.
