Together with the communications agency Pool, KLM won gold last week in the "Travel, Transport & Vehicles" category.
For the Scandinavian campaign The Amsterdam Sneaker at the Guldnyckelgalan. The campaign was launched in 2017 and quickly created great interest from the public.
The campaign's goal was to highlight Amsterdam as a city and, in contrast to other big cities, show how walkable it is. In response, a specially adapted shoe was developed to maximize the experience. The campaign was a great success, as was the interest in the exclusive shoes. All proceeds from the sales went to UNICEF.
– It feels incredibly fun to inspire people to have adventures and discover new parts of Amsterdam on foot, while at the same time, with the campaign, we have been able to help UNICEF in its important work, says Carina Berqvist, Head of Communications for Air France and KLM in the Nordics.
