After the political parties announced on Friday how they want Norrköping Airport to be operated, it has become apparent that there are private players who have shown interest in the airport.

It has been just over a year since Norrköping Airport lost its only regular route. The municipality then appointed an investigation into the future. The investigation was completed in November last year and has now been out for consultation. 

On Friday, the views came in from the political parties.

– Several companies have contacted us and one has expressed interest in actively getting involved in the airport. Their interest was interesting enough for us to continue the talks, says Lars Stjernqvist (S), chairman of the municipal board.
