A private jet that was supposed to land in Cologne, Germany, is heading towards Swedish airspace, writes DN.

In the worst case, the plane could crash off Gotland.

German authorities are unable to contact the pilot or anyone else on board.

According to TT, four people are on board the plane.

– We can't talk right now, we are in the middle of the operation, the Maritime and Air Rescue Center tells Aftonbladet.

According to DN, German fighter jets are up to see what happened.

– The hope is that they will make contact with the crew. But they don't see any crew in the cockpit, Lars Antonsson at the Maritime and Air Rescue Centre previously told DN.

He says the plane will not pass over land but will fly over the sea.
