After just over two weeks of space adventure, the first private space travelers have landed back on Earth. The space capsule hit the ocean at 19:06, Swedish time.

The astronauts have visited the International Space Station, ISS, in the first completely private space trip.

The adventure is paid for by Axiom Space, which has sent up a Space X rocket with American-Mexican former NASA astronaut Michael López-Alegría as captain.

Along for the trip were American real estate developer Larry Connor, Canadian businessman Mark Pathy and Israeli former fighter pilot Eytan Stibbe.

The American space agency NASA has already given the green light for a second trip.
