Profit decline for Finnair

Finnair reports revenue in line with expectations in the third quarter. The company reports a decrease in profit that is lower than market expectations.

Sales amounted to EUR 870.3 million (806.9), compared with Factset's analyst consensus of 871.

Operating profit was EUR 94.9 million (115.5). The operating margin was 10.9 percent (14.3). 

Adjusted operating profit was EUR 100.7 million (118.2), expected to be EUR 122, with an adjusted operating margin of 11.6 percent (14.6). 

Earnings per share were EUR 0.43 (0.52).

The company is sticking to its previously issued outlook for the full year.
